Clinical Bio-Chemistry

Clinical Biochemistry deals with the measurement of chemicals (both natural and unnatural) in blood, urine and other body fluids. These test results are useful for detecting health problems, determining prognosis and guiding the therapy of a patient.

Microbiology

Microbiological analysis covers the use of biological, biochemical or chemical methods for the detection, identification or enumeration of microorganisms

Haematology

Clinical hematology is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of blood and blood forming tissues. The diseases in the area of Hematology may involve: Blood cells (red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets) and other blood components;

ECG

An electrocardiogram (ECG) records the electrical signal from the heart to check for different heart conditions. Electrodes are placed on the chest to detect the heart's electrical signals each time it beats, which are then recorded as a graph on ECG paper/ displayed on a monitor.
